2023 Ford Escape STLine Hybrid is generally regarded as a pretty good mpg SUV, especially among compact hybrids.The STLine Hybrid (2.5L Atkinson hybrid) gets about 42 mpg city / 36 mpg highway / 39 mpg combined for the frontwheel-drive version. By comparison, the nonhybrid (gas/turbo) versions get much less roughly in the 2630 mpg combined range depending on engine and drive setup.
