Reviews:
* The Mercedes-Benz CLA boasts two primary selling points: premium looks and a surprisingly accessible price of entry. Sure, itâs not an elegant, proportional masterpiece like its upmarket sibling the CLS, but this chip off the block is still arguably sexier than virtually all of its competitors. Source: KBB.com
* Luxury-car quality and status for a relatively low price; commendable power and handling; premium interior materials; fiery performance from AMG model. Source: Edmunds

Either love it or hate it.
by Pmaze on Monday, October 12, 2020
I may be the exception as I really like it in spite of things I don’t like. It’s not all that comfortable. It’s not that quiet. It’s not all that exciting in the acceleration department. It doesn’t have much leg room and the back seat is for toddlers only. But with the AMG package it looks great. It’s very agile and very dependable. It has above average gas mileage and the ergonomics are well above average. It is fun to drive but long trips can play havoc on the back and butt. It’s very easy to drive and doesn’t feel like a bargain Benz. - 5.0
2014 cla250
by Jennifer on Sunday, June 23, 2024
I got mine new and it has the AMG rims , 4matic you cannot beat this steering and how it handles the road for an introduction to a mercedes we leased and kept it. It only has 41k Miles and garage kept spotless I've looked at new ones but I don't see that much difference enough to have another car payment. Maintenance has been general oil changes and tires and 1 battery. - 3.0
Highly Dangerous
by Lizzy on Wednesday, October 12, 2022
The central problem with this CLA250 from 2014 is its stalling problem. After about 35,000 miles, it appears the crank angle sensor goes bad, and the car stumbles along until it stalls. Sometimes it does not restart. I was on the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway in July of 2020 when my CLA250 stalled in the left lane of the highway. I contacted police, and as a cruiser was approaching, a man in a white van rammed into my car destroying it. I could have died although not from the impact of the van. The CLA250 was very sturdy. Only the trunk was punched in totaling the car. I read how Mercedes Benz responded to other peoples' narratives about their cars stalling, and the response was disrespectful. The company accused the owners of stalling their cars, and NHTSA never stepped in to check out the CLA250. Stay away from this car as it may fail on its owner placing its owner into great danger. I envy my father's 190E from 1992 that never, ever stalls. They don't don't make them like they used to. Be warned.
